Melancon Oil Dispersants, Crude Oil Dispersants, Oil Emulsifiers
Melancon OSD / COD Oil Dispersants & MOE Oil Emulsifiers are environmentally safe and biodegradable. Our dispersants are very effective when applied to oily residue. They will emulsify and break up the hydrocarbon into minute particles that will not re-coalesce.
Surface Spills: Oil or fuel soaked ground, roadways and equipment contaminated from an oil spill can be sprayed, soaked and rinsed with Melancon OSD to disperse and emulsify the hydrocarbon contaminate. It will permeate the oil-saturated soil and form a brownish milky emulsion, which should then be thoroughly rinsed with water. This will facilitate bio-degradation of the contaminant as well as the Melancon OSD.

Disposal: Fluids absorbed by MEP products will not be rendered less hazardous, less toxic, or less flammable and when
absorbed will remain in their original state. Therefore, handle, store and dispose of MEP sorbents after use with the same
caution as you would the original fluid. Products must be disposed of in compliance with local, State and Federal regulations.
Since fluids may be toxic or hazardous nature, MEP does not recommend disposal procedures.
